About Me

My name is Luke Busch. I’m based in Madison, WI.

I’m an IT professional by day and a musician by night.

In IT, I specialize in Business Systems Analysis and automation, and have experience in the world of Electronic Data Interchange in healthcare software. My Bachelor of Science degree is in Business Administration – Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, where I also studied music.

As for the music side of things, I’m primarily a sax guy with clarinet and flute doubles. Having played professionally for over 20 years, I’ve had a wide variety of experiences working with many different groups in nearly as many styles. I play regularly with several different groups around Southern Wisconsin, including Mad City Funk, The Neophonic Jazz Orchestra, The Ben Ferris Octet, and The Larry Busch Band. In addition, I have experience doing live sound mixing for groups large and small, as well as several live recording projects.

I have many other diverse hobbies, including photography, playing amateur baseball, and general technology tinkering.

Drop me a line if you’re more interested in what I do. I’d love to hear from you!
